A word from the Coordinator
….And Summer is right around the corner!
With these 80 degrees April days, who cannot think of roasting hotdogs and finishing with smores, sleeping under the stars, and days that never end? At OP 292, we are thinking about Summer too. And planning our busiest Spring yet. That’s right, we have a lot to talk about, so let’s get right to it.
Merit Day Camps:
With our March Merit Camp in the books, we look forward to April and May’s Merit Camps. At March Merit camp, we had many of the boys earn their Air Gun Safety Merit. Some even qualified for their Marksmanship Merit. These fun and exciting sessions run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Learn all about our Merit Camps Here.
April’s Merit Lineup
Adventure Rangers will be studying the book of 2nd Corinthians and earning their Baseball Merit.
Discovery Rangers will be going through the Old Testament Book of Joshua and learning to tie knots in their Ropecraft Skill Merit.
This year’s dates are April 10, May 15, and June 12.
Times are usually 8 AM to 3 PM but could change due to the availability of guest teachers. So please mark your calendars and check back for more information!
Send a Kid to Camp Spaghetti Dinner
Rangers and Parents. Once again, it is that time. We are asking for your help. Our annual fundraiser, Send a Kid to Camp Spaghetti Dinner, will be on Friday, May 21st, at Fellowship Wesleyan Church. As a Royal Ranger family, I am asking every family member of a Ranger and Friends of our Royal Rangers to come together to support this vital fundraiser.

Ranger Kids Family Field Day
Ranger Kids Remind Your Parents to Mark the Date. May 29th will be our annual Ranger Kids Family Field day. We have many fun and exciting events planned for this day, so you will not want to miss it.
This year we will be traveling to Akron Falls State Park for a fun day of nature bingo, exploring the falls, and seeing who can build the most enormous rock sculpture. Check back as we get closer for more information. This event is open to all Ranger Kids and their families. So come on out and enjoy the fun!
