Welcome Back OP 292!
And welcome all new Royal Rangers. Wow! What an exciting time of year. I loved all the new faces I saw at our first meeting, and of course, it was great to see all the returning Royal Rangers.
A couple of notes as we come back:
1. We cannot release your child to anyone other than you. So if you are having another adult pick your child up, please let us know ahead of time and fill out one of our child release forms. We will ask for identification from the person if we do not personally know them.
2. A reminder (I am sorry – there is no delicate way to say this), we ask for a thirty dollar fee for each Ranger to offset the cost of the program. I am chartering next week with the national office, so if you have not taken care of that or you want to make arrangements, please see me.
If there is a difficulty, please see me privately. Whatever happens, do not let finances be a reason not to have your boy attend Royal Rangers. There are scholarship opportunities to earn money for Rangers.
3. The last thing is that we will be ordering new uniforms this week and they take about two weeks to come in. I will get sizes from your boys next week. As a side note though, our Outpost uniform is the Ranger group t-shirt we give you, blue or blue jean cargo pants, socks and closed-toe tie sneakers. If a boy is in Junior Leadership Academy, he will be visible by his leadership utility uniform.
As a safety precaution, please do not send your boy in flip-flops or open toe sandals. The boys frequently play outside and do exercise and can injure themselves in these.
Once again, thank you for helping us make Royal Rangers fun and exciting and most of all helping us to spread God’s word. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me or check our website fellowshipwesleyanroyalrangers.org or visit us on Facebook.
Thank you,
OP 292 Coordinator
