Exciting Things Coming Up

Wow! Exciting things are going on for Outpost 292. We are making plans to attend our first overnight camping trip – and it promises to be a fun time. All the Western section leaders are working hard to make this year’s Klondike Run the best one ever.

The theme this year Psalm 23:4, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me”, can never be truer than it is in today’s day and age. And, if we think about it, with faith in our Savior Jesus Christ, anything that comes our way really is just that – a valley to walk through – not to get stuck in.

These next two weeks at Rangers, Ranger Kids are starting to work on their Elk Advancement and Discovery Rangers are finishing up studying the book of Numbers. We will also be working on getting our Klondike Sled ready, practicing our skits, and writing out Patrol Cheer so we can be prepared for the Klondike Run.

I am looking forward to spending this time with the boys and helping them to discover the things the Lord has in store for them and His plan for their lives. As always, if there are any questions, feel free to let me know.
