A Quick Note

March Merit Day This Saturday

This Saturday, March 12th, We will have our first Merit Camp of the year. This year, Mr. Barry Davis will be joining the Discovery Rangers to teach them the Chess Merit. The camp will be 8AM-3PM.

Mr. Davis is Western New Yorks’s highest-ranked chess master and has participated in numerous worldwide competitions. Aside from learning the basics of chess, Mr. Davis will discuss tactics and strategic thinking with any of the more advanced players.

The Adventure Rangers will earn their public speaking merit and practice this vital skill. All boys will do several small Bible Studies and play interactive games.

The boys should bring a bagged lunch and wear their Ranger T-shirt

Rise Against Hunger Service Project

The next three Wednesdays, we will be signing families up for the Rise Against Hunger Service Project. This is a family event, so moms, dads, brothers, and sisters are encouraged to help.

This is an excellent opportunity to serve others while leading by example. When you drop off your child at Royal Rangers, we will be available to sign up at the door.

We do have a limited supply of Ranger t-Shirts to give to every Royal Ranger Family member who participates. We will give these away until we run out.

Girl’s clubs will be able to sign up then as well.
