OP 292 COVID-19 UPDATE 11/20/2020

I am writing to keep you informed of our activities during the COVID-19 resurgence we have been seeing. Please keep in mind that this is a very fluid situation, and the information can change very quickly and at any time. If the status does change, we will keep you updated by the usual methods. Or you can check back here at any time.

Yesterday, Governor Cuomo came out with some new Erie County guidelines, and more specifically, West Seneca has been affected. You can view them here, but we are now in an Orange zone. This will affect our current meetings

According to the state department of health guidelines, houses of worship must not have more than 25 people at one time. They can operate at 33%, but as long as 33% does not exceed 25.

At this time, our leaders are working hard on a plan and hope to have a solution in place by Monday. For a complete explanation of the zones and their meanings, check out the article here.

We were not planning to meet the night before Thanksgiving, and we will hope to pick back up in some fashion the following week.

Additionally, Pastor Schutte sent an email to our prayer list indicating while we are not able to hold regular Sunday morning worship services, they will be streamed live at 10:30 AM on our YouTube channel at Fellowship Wesleyan Church.
