Winter Service Project:
On Saturday, November 30th, The Expedition Rangers and their leader Mr. Smith, have planned the Winter Service project. For this year’s project, the Royal Rangers will be helping to decorate the church for Christmas.
The boys will arrive at Fellowship Wesleyan Church at 9:30 and will be finished around 12 Noon. When they arrive, they will check in with Mrs. Brenda Fijas and be given their assignments. I hope to see you all there.
We feel that voluntary service to others is a vital part of learning to be a Christlike Servant Leader and we do try and model this at all times. To complete the yearly requirements in Royal Rangers and receive their advancement, each boy is expected to participate in at least two Ranger sponsored service projects per year and take part in the Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser each May. We usually offer 3-4 opportunities per year to do this.
