As the boys settle down to their tents, finishing up their first full day of JDLA it seems as if they are already a little older and more prepared.
Aside from games, fires, and great food, the boys rolled out at 6:30 this morning and met new friends and overcame some challenges they are not used to. They learned that time management and working together are the best way to reach goals.
Most importantly, I think they learned the value of perseverance when things get tough. Sometimes what you want doesn’t just get given to you – there is no substitute for hard work.
