A word from the Coordinator
Wow – Is God Good or What? Think back just over a year ago. We were reeling from the COVID pandemic: Businesses were shut down, Kids were learning what remote learning was, and parents were learning that teachers really do need that break. And our churches were taking it to God.
One year later, at OP 292, God has allowed us to overcome all of that and has blessed us with our most active year ever. We have more boys attending our program than ever. We have seen several boys ask Jesus for salvation and have had many men ask to be involved with our group. Against all odds, God has not only pulled us through but allowed us to prosper.
And that brings us to the Summer. I had never had so many things to talk about. So here are just a few of the highlights coming up.
RANGER KIDS FAMILY FIELD DAY
Ranger Kids Remind Your Parents to Mark the Date. May 29th will be our annual Ranger Kids Family Field Day. We have many fun and exciting events planned for this day, so you will not want to miss it.
This year we will be traveling to Akron Falls State Park for a fun day of rock painting, exploring the falls, and seeing who can build the most enormous rock sculpture. This event is open to all Ranger Kids and their families. So come on out and enjoy the fun! Click here for more information on the excting day of fun.
JUNE MERIT CAMP
Our Summer kicks off with all the excitement a boy could want. And not just the boys, Parents and families are all invited to live the adventure on these fun and exciting days!
Adventure Rangers and Expedition Rangers will be going White Water Rafting at Letchworth State Park. This is a joint trip with the Fellowship Wesleyan Youth Group. We want to thank Adventure Calls Outfitters and Mr. Bill Yeates for volunteering his time to teach and guide young men in a Christlike fashion.
Ranger Kids and Discovery Rangers will be traveling to Bliss, NY, to have a great day of fishing and hiking. They will even get a chance to see a giant windmill up close and possibly even see some Turkey and Deer in the wild.

JUNE 2ND – END OF THE YEAR FAMILY PICNIC
On wedneday June 2nd we willbe having our Wednight night servies family picnic
Click here to sign up for this fun ending to a great year. We will be proving drinks and hotdogs and burgers. We are asking each family to bring a dish to pass.
JuneE 6TH – AWARDS CEREMONY AND GRADUATION
On Sunday, June 2nd, 2021, Outpost 292 will hold what will be our most significant award ceremony and Graduation yet. Because of COVID, we could not have our ceremony last year, so this year we will have two years of achievements to celebrate.
The ceremony will take place from 5:30 – 7:30. There will be light refreshments after the ceremony. We urge every boy and family to attend this evening of celebration. We will be live streaming on Fellowship Weseyan’s YouTube channel for family members who cannot attend.
