Five Boys Join FCF

Last Weekend, five adventurous boys from the Western Section Royal Rangers embarked on a thrilling journey as they fearlessly stepped into the Royal Rangers FCF or Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship. This is a significant commitment within the Royal Rangers program, a Christian mentoring and discipleship program for boys, and we are proud of them. 

The boys inducted to FCF are Abe Stark (OP292, West Seneca), Noah Sabatino, Caden Lawyer, Zander Roger, and Elijah Post, all from OP 42 in Batavia, NY.

What is FCF?

The FCF is not just a program; it’s an exhilarating adventure that underscores dedication to Christian service, developing advanced outdoor skills, and preserving the spirit of the early American frontiersmen. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the boys to immerse themselves in a world of thrilling adventures and continuous learning.

To join FCF, Royal Rangers must pass rigorous skill, knowledge, and character tests, including an overnight wilderness survival event called the “Frontiersman Camping Experience.”

FCF members often dress in period-specific attire and use equipment that reflects the early American frontier era. They learn and demonstrate advanced camping, survival, and bushcraft skills.

The fellowship encourages members to engage in acts of service and demonstrate their faith through practical actions.

Congratulations, boys, on your remarkable achievement of being inducted into the FCF. We are immensely proud of you and eagerly anticipate your continued growth and active participation in the program.
