On the Weekend of October 13th, the Western Division, NY, Royal Rangers will hold their annual Camporee.
The theme of the Camporee will be Rejoice In Truth, based on 1 Corinthians 13:6. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
This year’s Camporee promises to be an action-packed, fun event. We will get a visit from the Niagara Frontier Search and Rescue Team and their K-9 Unit. Commander Ivan is bringing his Cider Press again, and The FCF will be cooking up some fantastic Dutch Oven Recipes. Commander Chris Poole told me he is whipping up some campfire cobbler, and we are inviting boys to sleep in the village again this year!
The Camporee will be held at Creekside Assembly of God Church in Amherst, NY. We will meet for an evening service on Friday night and break after morning services on Sunday. Please see your Outpost coordinators for all the details. This is one you won’t want to miss.
